The Algo is a real-time stock flow platform delivering reversal signals on stocks you already track.

You receive alerts via the web app (and optionally via Slack).
The workflow is:

  1. Plan a list of stocks you care about

  2. Wait for Algo to trigger a signal (Trade, Swing, Invest)

  3. Assess the alert — validate it before entry

  4. Proceed with a trade, defining target & stop loss

Suggested holding periods:

:algo-whisper:

Whisper Alert = Early Warning System

  • oversold, but trying to go up

  • If we get a whisper algo, we buy 1/2 of the total position on the close of the whisper candle, and

  • Add on the Algo Alert (at time of alert)

Trade Whisper = 1d chart is reversING

  • Window of Opportunity: up to 3 weeks

  • buy on same day at 4pm, only if over alert price

:algo-trade:

Trade Algo = 1d chart has reversED

  • Window of Opportunity: up to 3 weeks

  • buy on same day at 4pm, only if over alert price

Swing Whisper = 1w chart is reversING

  • Window of Opportunity: up to 3 months

  • buy on last day of week (friday) at 4pm, only if over alert price

:algo-swing:

Swing Algo = 1w chart has reverseED

  • Window of Opportunity: up to 3 months

  • buy on last day of week (friday) at 4pm, only if over alert price

Invest Whisper = 1m chart is reversING

  • Window of Opportunity: up to 1 year

  • buy on last day of month at 4pm, only if over alert price

:algo-invest:

Invest Algo = 1m chart has reverseED

  • Window of Opportunity: up to 1 year

  • buy on last day of month at 4pm, only if over alert price

  • Window of Opportunity: Optimal window for the stock to start a reversal (not a bounce) so we get a derisking event (trim). The Algo is predicting "immediate reversals". If we are not higher within the window of opportunity, the law of diminishing returns starts to kick in.

  • Alerts are ideas, not guarantees — always validate before taking a position.

1. Watchlist Setup & Management

  • Manage Your Watchlist
Add tickers by clicking the “+” next to a symbol in the platform. Remove them via “Manage Watchlist” (click the “–”).

  • Filter Your Watchlist Alerts
After adding stocks, use the buttons above the watchlist (Trade / Swing / Invest) to filter alerts you receive for those tickers.

2. Alerts Feed (Central Hub)

The Alerts Feed logs all scanned signals in real-time. It’s always live, scanning stocks for trade / swing / invest setups. You can search any alert by ticker at the top.

There are different tiers (Premium, Pro) that control how many alerts you see and their sources (S&P, Nasdaq, Justin List, etc.).

3. Real-Time Alert Qualification

Alerts go through a validation process during market hours:

  • Grey: New alert, not validated yet

  • Yellow Pulsing: Undergoing qualification

  • Green Pulsing: Price trading above alerted level

  • Green + Check-mark: Fully qualified alert (won’t change)

Alerts that fail qualification are hidden under a “failed alerts” tab by default.

4. Stocks Flow Filters

Use flow filters to narrow down alerts to the most relevant ones:

  • Above Alert (default): Shows alerts that are currently trading above the alert trigger

  • Whisper Alerts: Early alerts hinting at a possible reversal

  • Failed Alerts: Alerts that triggered but failed qualification criteria

These filters help you sift signal from noise.

5. Strength Bars

Strength Bars provide a quick backtest-based “confidence score”:

  • The filled portion reflects how many of the last 10 alerts were profitable

  • A low bar signals weaker historical performance → use more caution

  • N/A indicates insufficient data to score reliably

How These Tools Work Together

  1. Add tickers to your watchlist.

  2. Filter them by alert type (Trade / Swing / Invest).

  3. Monitor the Alerts Feed to see signals across all your tracked stocks.

  4. Watch how each alert qualifies in real time.

  5. Apply flow filters (Above Alert, Whisper, Failed) to focus your attention.

  6. Use Strength Bars to judge whether a signal is historically reliable.

By mastering these tools, you’ll better filter for high-probability setups, reduce noise, and align your trading with informed flow-based signals.
